Sporting variety meets closeness to nature: Club Tamboré Jundiaí includes an outdoor swimming pool, a heated indoor pool, a fitness area, tennis, beach tennis and multi-sports courts as well as a play area for children. Particularly noteworthy are two BBQ stations at the highest point – with breathtaking views.
Club Tamboré Jundiaí
Club Tamboré Jundiaí impresses at first glance with its closeness to nature and the clear separation of solid volumes and light-flooded, transparent areas.
The club grounds are divided into four buildings that open out into the garden and the adjacent forest – a continuous staging of the dialog with the natural surroundings.
Access is via an elegant steel canopy that spans a water pond and creates a dignified entrance situation. The central structure accessed in this way houses the multifunctional event hall, which in turn faces the outdoor area with the organically shaped outdoor pool. The fitness area is located next to it. The heated pool meanders along the edge of the site.
The design was created by DMDV arquitetos.
Program
The architecture balances between organic and rectangular shapes; the curved pool forms a strong contrast to the clearly defined volumes of the buildings, and yet everything seems to flow.
Club Tamboré Jundiaí has an outdoor swimming pool, a heated indoor pool, a fitness area, tennis courts, beach tennis courts, multi-sports courts and a play area for children. Particularly noteworthy are two BBQ stations at the highest point – with breathtaking views.
The open patio between the sports hall and the auditorium functions as an open-air cinema, with the rear wall of the hall serving as a projection screen.
Quality of stay
The site itself was designed as a spacious, near-natural park. Green spaces and existing vegetation were preserved and skilfully integrated: An existing protective forest forms the backdrop, while groups of flowers and trees within the grounds ensure a pleasant atmosphere.
Plenty of space has been created for members to relax, from quiet zones by the water basin to play areas and BBQ areas.
The interior is deliberately dominated by rustic materials such as natural stone, exposed concrete and wood. They convey warmth and a sense of security and emphasize the connection to nature.
Fit for the future
Club Tamboré Jundiaí stands for a balanced relationship between architecture, landscape and social function. With its diverse sporting, cultural and community functions, it complements a modern residential and leisure environment.
The clear structure and modularity of the buildings allow for potential adaptations and extensions, which guarantees long-term flexibility.
